How to make the best Father’s Day Card ever

In this post, I am going to tell you how to make the best Father’s Day Card ever. So, it’s the night before Father’s Day and you completely forgot that you aren’t going to have time in the morning to make or purchase your Dad a card for his special day. After that, you remember you recently purchased ”He’s the Man” Designer Series Paper by Stampin’ Up.

Let’s get to work

Out come a few supplies, even though you would rather watch Netflix! Just kidding! Meanwhile, you notice this great card does not even require stamping. You put it all together and you realize that you are flippin’ awesome. Serenity replaces panic and now off to find the remote!

How to:

  1. Use basic white thick cardstock as your card base.

    Cut this at 8 1/2 x 5 1/2.
    Score at 4 1/4.

  2. Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper (DSP) “He’s the Man” 4 x 5 1/4.
    Cut these in half diagnonally
Using just 2 sides of the paper, adhere to cardbase as shown above with glue.

  3. Die cut a piece of cardstock (I used soft succulent from In Color 2021-2023 multipack) using 3rd smallest deckled rectangle.
    Adhere to DSP with dimensionals.

  4. Pop out decorative pieces from He’s The Man Die Cut sheets that comes with this DSP.
    Adhere using dimensionals.
    Enjoy!

So that being said, I try to always have a package of guy paper in my stash because masculine cards are usually a bit of a challenge. As a result of having this paper, I have a starting point and my ideas can take off when I take the paper out to work on. Add to your stash now by clicking on the link above.
