Card Making Ideas using Bamboo Beauty by Kathleen Rosenfield June 2022
Card Making Ideas
I have some card making ideas for you using the Bamboo Beauty Stamp Set. My friend and I often borrow each other’s stamp sets so I asked her for this one. This set didn’t do anything for me when I first saw it in the catalog, but I decided to try it anyway. Now, I can say that I really like it and might want it in my stash permanently!
How to:
- Cut thick white cardstock 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4
Cut basic white cardstock 4 x 5 1/4 or use largest deckle die with die cutting machine
Cut thick white cardstock 2 3/4 x 1 /1/2 or use second smallest deckle die - Use blending brushes & ink to create card front background
Stamp Bamboo Beauty images - Adhere card front to card with glue or adhesive
Adhere sentiment with dimensionalsEnjoy!
Two more cards using Bamboo Beauty stamp set
For these two card making ideas, I just used some new designer series paper, “Texture Chic” and “Pretty Prints”. After that, I used a new punch and a new embossing folder. The punch is called “Lasting Label” and the embossing folder is called “Timeworn Type”. Moreover, these cards were even easier as I didn’t create my own background, instead using the paper. Lastly, a little bling and a bit of twine finished my cards. I never have Sympathy cards on hand but I am hanging on to these. I have learned the hard way that it’s always a good idea to have a wide variety of cards and sentiments “just in case”.
Product ListIn Conclusion
To sum up, my takeaway on this stamp set is ”never judge a book by its cover”. Go deeper and explore different sets. Change up your style with something new. Please click on any products above you might want to have. It’s a pretty extensive list and you definitely don’t need it all to make beautiful cards. Often, all you need is a great stamp, ink and paper.
You will receive the gift offer above from the new catalog in a separate mailing. Happy Stamping!
