Loving the new ”In Colors” with Color & Contour
Each year Stampin’ Up creates one new ”In Color” collection based on trends in todays styles and colors. Each collectionn is comprised of cardstock, ink pads, ink pad refills and stampin’ blends. The colors this year are Orchid Oasis, Parakeet Party, Starry Sky, Sweet Sorbet and Tahitian Tide. Each yearly collection is available for two years so in any given year we have two collections available. For this card, I used all five of the 2022 – 2024 ink pads.
How To:
Begin with a 4 1/4 – 5 1/2 card base cut from Basic White Thick cardstock
Layer and adhere a 4 by 5 1/4 piece of Starry Sky cardstock to the card bas
Next cut a piece of Basic White cardstock 3 3/4 by 5, stamp the flowers with In Colors ink and adhere to Starry Sky cardstock.
Using a Stamparatus, stamp focal flower with In Colors ink and cut out with bundle die using Sizzix Adhesive/video
Using a Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine and the second smallest rectangle die in the Color & Contour bundle, cut a piece of Starry Sky cardstock and adhere focal flower to the front raising it up using Stampin Dimensionals.
Stamp sentiment onto Basic White cardstock and cut with emboss machine using the smallest rectangle die in the Color & Contour bundle. Lastly, adhere sentiment with dimensionals to Starry Sky die cut. Enjoy!
