Photo Cards & Pocket Gift Card Holders by Kathleen Rosenfield, July 2023
This week’s topic is to go into your craft room and create personalized photo cards and pocket gift card holders .
Sunday was my son’s birthday so of course I made his cards on Saturday! This top one is a pocket gift card holder and the one below is Stampbuddies CEO Buddy on a personalized photo birthday card. Friends & family, even non-card lovers seem to really enjoy receiving these.
Measurements I used for these cards:
To Make Pocket & Insert Card:
- Pocket:
Cut 1 piece of Designer Series Paper 6 x 9 1/4 in.
Score at 2 3/4 & 7 in.
Lastly, score the bottom at 5/8 in.
Trim the sections shown in black above so everything will lay flat.
Score & fold all of these lines.
Use adhesive to secure all folds.
Use a circle punch halfway down to create opening at top of pocket.
Insert:
Cut 2 pieces of different colored cardstock 4 x 5 1/4 and 3 3/4 x 5Cut 1 piece of designer series paper to match the pocket 2 x 6.
Adhere this small strip to smaller piece of cardstock with adhesive as shown above.
Then adhere this section to the larger piece of cardstock.
Decorate both pieces however you wish!
