Dog and Cat Photo Birthday Card by Kathleen Rosenfield August 2022
Hey Stampbuddies, I woke up early this morning with a great birthday card idea for my crafty friend. She is an animal lover, as am I, so I decided to make a dog and cat photo birthday card showcasing my dog Buddy and her cat Sophie. Aren’t they photogenic? I thought it would look nice on her mantle and make her smile!

How to: Dog and Cat Photo Birthday Card
- Make a slimline card using Basic White cardstock, mat and card. Please refer to What Size is a Slimline Card for quick and easy instructions for the card base, mat and card front.
Use papers of your choice for the mat (cut 1/8 smaller than card base) and card front (cut 1/8 inch smaller than mat). I used Gorgeous Grape cardstock and Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper. Layer the mat to the card base and the card front to the mat with Multipurpose Liquid glue. - Choose pictures you want to use. I use glossy photo paper and print the pictures directly to the printer from my phone. I really like the glossy look of the pictures.
Use any punch or diecut to crop the pictures. I used the Label Me Lovely Punch for all 6 labels. The ones in back I cut in half to extend them.
- Choose a sentiment for your card. Mine is from the Special Moments stamp set.
Pop Dimensionals on the back and adhere to cardfront. Add a little bling and some decorative corners if you wish. These corners are the Fabulous Frames Dies from Parakeet Party cardstock.
Voila! Now you have a one-of-a-kind personalized card that your recipient will cherish.
