Years ago, I got talked into going camping for a weekend. It poured the entire time during this bad adventure.. Everything was soaked. Subsequently, I put all my clothes in a green trashbag to bring home and wash.
The ”Icing on the Cake” happened as I was unloading my car, my roomates were putting the trash bags out as the collection truck was coming down the street. Somehow, my clothes got thrown into the trash by a well meaning roomate!
In short, I decided camping was not for me ever again! However, I would try glamping which is fancy camping. No sleeping on the ground! Who cares if it rains? Therefore, in the spirit of glamping, I decided to create this card.
How To: Create My Glamping Christmas Card:
- If you’re not sure how to make a card and mat for front of card, see my article and/or short video on Size of A2 Cards.
- Cut designer series paper ”Santa Express” in half and adhere 1/2 to mat ”Splendid Day.”
Cut camper, camper trims & dog from cardstock. I used sweet sorbet, parakeet party & black.
Cut a piece of vellum to cover the windows.
Glue down camper trim. Adhere camper & dog to paper using dimensionals. - Stamp Smiles Across the Miles from Sending Smiles stamp set on white cardstock. & cut with scissors. Adhere sentiment with dimensionals.
Adhere entire card front to white cardbase.
