Beautiful Paper for Card Making

Beautiful Paper for Card Making by Kathleen Rosenfield, February 2023.

I just want to showcase more beautiful paper for card making this week. This card looks like a lot of stamping or water coloring went into it, but it is 100% the paper! I just added the die cut ‘Sending’, stamped the sentiment and tied a ribbon. The paper, ‘Fancy Flora’, is from the Spring Mini Catalog.

Tip of the Week: Back to Basics

If you think stamping might be a hobby for you, but you don’t really want to invest too much, check out my ‘Back to Basics’ list. Just click on each item to view. These are basic supplies that are necessary even before you start shopping for a stamp set!

Stampin’ Up’s Kits Collection

Start with a KIT. The kits generally come with everything you need to make the kit’s projects. This includes a stamping block and an ink spot.

If you start with a kit and decide you want to take your stamping a bit further you will need a Paper trimmer. This is for cutting and scoring your cardstock.

The cardstock I would recommend to always have on hand would be basic white.

Memento black ink pad is a good choice to purchase.

My favorite adhesives are the Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the Stampin’ seal adhesive.

Finally, the Paper Snips are super sharp and made for cutting paper.

Now, you can browse for a beautiful stamp set! Enjoy.
